God is great—He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, holy, and completely worthy of our trust. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
His presence assures us of our relationship with Christ and guides believers into truth by comforting us, giving us spiritual gifts and transforming us more like Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment.
We believe the Bible to be divinely inbreathed, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and is relevant to our daily lives.
The man was made in the image of God and was created to have fellowship with God. Man became separated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot gain a relationship with God through his own effort.
The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way to salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as payment for their sins. Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned through own efforts.
The Church is a community of believers, unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ by obeying all His commands and seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, so that it may glorify Christ.
We believe in Christ’s Lordship of the Church, the observance of the ordinances of Christian baptism by immersion for believers, and the Lord’s Supper.
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, is a gift from God, as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit himself gives utterance as the initial physical sign and evidence. (Acts 2:4)
Jesus said He would return for His Church, and He will. We believe Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to Earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a date that is not disclosed by the Scriptures.
We believe in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed in heaven and the eternal doom of the unregenerate in the lake of fire.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each hold equal power and authority.
